Isaiah 9:2 & Luke 18:31-43 - Advent comes from the Latin word "adventus" which means "coming". In the church calendar the Advent season is one for anticipating Christ's coming at Christmas and the reality that He is coming again. This Christmas season we are looking at the Advent theme of light with a series entitled "From Darkness to Light".
